A former prosecutor, Dan has extensive experience handling all types of criminal matters, from low-level misdemeanors to the most serious of felonies.  In private practice, he has continued to focus a large percentage of his practice on criminal law, defending his clients’ rights in all types of matters, including:

Good people can make mistakes.  It seems all too common that otherwise law-abiding citizens find themselves facing criminal charges after having wine with dinner or a few beers after a day on Vermont’s ski slopes. Obviously, the smartest and safest decision is to not drive after drinking. If, however, you find yourself facing a charge of DUI, Dan may be able to help.

Having experience both prosecuting and defending these types of cases, Dan understands the complexities of DUI law and is able to competently advise clients as to the strengths and weakness of their case, whether or not there are appropriate legal issues to be raised which could potentially lead to dismissal or reduction in charges and what the consequences could be on their driver’s license and ability to drive.
